These paint up very well if you are buying unpainted. Once painted to add more protection add a coat of varnish.
These sandbags were inspired by the film Zulu as this is one of my favorite subjects. I do make the buildings in 1.32 scale on commission. These sandbags fit very well with 1.32 scale. They can be used for different makes from William Britains, call to Arms, Conte, etc. The sandbags and biscuit boxes are a good size.
The Welsh guards had a big fight on their hands as the Zulu out numbered them at the garrison. The battle went on for 12 hours and was a bitter fight.
